Here at Red Train we want you to be really happy with your purchase. To allow us to supply equipment at the best possible price, and to protect both you and us, please take note of the returns policy below.

All items purchased from us are officially authorised, and covered by the device manufacturer’s full warranty. Should a product develop a fault, please contact the manufacturer directly. If you have tried to do this unsuccessfully, then please contact us and we will assist you.

If you wish to return a product purchased from us because you have changed your mind, you may do so within 7 days of receipt. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. For the avoidance of doubt, if a product is unsealed, it cannot be returned.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. You must advise us within 7 days of receiving the goods that you wish to return them for a refund. Your refund will be for the purchase amount less any shipping costs you may have paid to receive the item initially.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer unless explicitly requested by the manufacturer. Where a purchase is returned to the manufacturer directly, Red Train will be unable to provide any further exchange or refund support for the item purchased.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment. Please allow up to 30 days to receive your refund.

Sale items
Only items sold at full price may be refunded. Sale or other discounted items cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange your purchase for the same item, please send an email to info@redtrain.co.za and await further instruction. Please note that there may be a delay between us receiving your item, and shipping you a replacement as this is dependent on stock levels, product availability, and international shipping delays.

Shipping
To return your product, you should mail your product to: 183 Albion Springs Cl, Cape Town, WC, 7700, South Africa.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping, if it was paid for by us, will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item over £50/R1000, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item so the onus is on you to ensure a suitable shipping service is selected and that you are compensated for any loss if the item goes missing on its way back to us.
